Going to the movies...

Spence, Scott, Amber and I decided to go to a movie while our parents were still gone. The kids wanted to see Rango, so off we went. We got there a little bit early and decided to take pics before the movie started..
This is what they would do if something surprised them.
This is Amber watching the movie and Scott being funny.

This is what they would do if the movie was scary.

The movie turned out to be pretty lame. About half way through the movie, Scott asked me when the movie started and when it would be over. He didn't like it much. Infact, none of us did.

A Day in the Park

While Mom, Dad, Grant and Amanda were on Trek this past week, I babysat Amber and Scott. One of the days that I was babysitting, the kids wanted to have lunch in the park. We all got in the car (including Harley)and picked up some food and drove over to the park.
Amber had Rumbi

Scott had a kid's meal from Wendys

Then we played on the playground...

EWW!

Look at how huge this worm is! It's a creepy thought to know that these things actually exist in the world.

Playground

Amber had a soccer kick off party that my Mom made Scott, Spencer, Amber and I attend because we had registration papers we had to give to the coach. It was the most awkward thing. The party was in a park. Not many people were there and the weather was rainy and cold. After talking to the coach, we decided to play on the playground! Look at all these monkeys!

We were going to go to the baseball game but because the weather was so bad, we decided to rent a few movies and stay at home instead.

Harley

Cute little Harley gets so sleepy after going to get his haircut. Being so scared really gets him all worked up and wears him out!

It's a fishy Saturday!

Spencer and his family went to Disneyland today. Lucky him!... But what am I supposed to do all by myself in good ol' Salt Lake? Clint and Dad spent the whole afternoon building Clint's shed. While I went to Draper to visit the family. It was so hot outside we all jumped in the pool. My arms got sunburned! They look pretty tan now! I'm excited about that. Amanda and I went shopping all afternoon because Spencer's birthday is coming up. Let's just say that our shopping trip was not a successful one. Sorry Spency! I'm trying. Later that evening, all the boys went fishing! Look what Scott brought home! EWWW!
Sorry! The picture won't flip!

Curious Encounter

So today, Spence and I went to The Gateway. Spencer went to the Apple store and got an apple tv for his daddy! We also went to LensCrafters because Spencer wanted new glasses. He did not find anything he liked. Too bad!!! So we were going to leave and go back home, but then, Spencer made us go back to LensCrafters. He just couldn't get enough of the glasses. He STILL didn't get any glasses!

We made a little trip to Clark Planetarium. It was pretty cool, I guess. The best part of our Gateway adventure occured as we were leaving the planetarium. Some really weird druggie kid walked up to Spence and I and started telling us about how he had just been hit on by some 23 year old man.  He continued to explain (as we listened intently) that the man wanted to kidnap him and take him to California.  He asked us if that would be illegal (he told us he was only 13), and wanted to discuss under which charges he could bring his stalker to justice.  He was absolutely on something.
